“Self-discipline is essential for great success”
(Thee) Currently, I am studying Kumon beyond school grade level. This makes my study at school less stressful and fun to study. I don’t find it difficult to study two Kumon subjects as I just have to allocate my time appropriately.
Swimming is a sport that I like. I have to practice and join the competitions until receiving various awards because of disciplined practice regularly. It’s just like Kumon that new content is difficult. But when I do it in the second time, I will become proficient. It is a base to build up so that I can confidently progress to do more difficult contents.
(Thee’s mother) Allocating time is important. Thee likes to listen to the music and drawing when he has free time from swimming practice and study. He learns the skills of drawing by himself from the internet. This is another skill he gained from studying at Kumon. Every time he does new content, instructor always asks him to study the content by himself first.
Thee was one of the two finalists who were selected from total of 32 athletes to enter Secondary 1 at Srinakharinwirot University Demonstration School Prasarnmit, Secondary Division in Athlete quota (swimming). I thought that the school might consider from both sport abilities and various academic skills. At this point, I believe that Thee has accumulated his academic and other skills from studying at Kumon since childhood. This could make him pass this selection.
